Steamy Nights at the Starlite Drive in Movie Theater
When taking a trip down memory lane, how could anyone forget the drive in movie theaters Many sparks of love were ignited, and many hearts were broken among the many cars parked in the large fields. Stars shone above in the black sky, while couples experienced their first moments of intimacy.
But before any windows became fogged in the heat of passion, the utmost importance was finding just the right spot to park the car. The best place was well behind the refreshment stand, away from the intrusive lighting that interrupted many a young man’s passionate thoughts. And, of course, being close to the refreshment stand made the trek for candy, popcorn, hot dogs and soda easier. At intermission, the field of cars were illuminated by floodlights so lovers could gather supplies and gain momentum for the second round of intimacy.

When Paul arrived in Corinth in the middle of his second missionary journey, Acts 182-3 reports that he joined Aquila and Priscilla in the occupation of making tents. This fits well with what Paul himself wrote in the same period. For example, in 1 Thess. 109 says Surely you remember, brethren, our labor and toil, we worked day and night to avoid being a burden to anyone while preaching the gospel of God for you. Similarly, in 2 Thess. 37-8, Paul says. We expected when we were with you, and nobody ate food without paying for it, on the contrary, we worked day and night, working and working hard so as not to burden any of you.
Paul made two of the states at the same time in Corinth. Shortly after leaving Corinth, late in the third missionary journey, Paul describes his apostolic right to support those who have benefited spiritually (1 Cor. 9). It is ironic question, rhetorically, Or do only Barnabas and I who have to work for a living (1 Cor 9. 6).
